The room I stayed in was a Double Room, featuring a comfortable queen-sized bed and clean linen, which was a plus. The heating functioned well, providing warmth during the chilly nights. I appreciated the peace and quiet around the area, making for a restful stay. several issues stood out. The room had a strong sewage smell that made it unpleasant, and I noticed the mattress had a dip in the center, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. There were cobwebs in the window frame, and the overall cleanliness needed attention. The tea and coffee facilities were lacking, with only tea provided. the bathroom bin wasn’t emptied from the previous guest. A little more attention to detail in cleaning and maintenance could significantly improve the experience.

Avoid If Possible
We encountered broken amenities, including a faulty toilet flush and a grotty shower. The room felt cramped, with insufficient ventilation and a lingering smell. Communication with staff was poor, and cleanliness was lacking throughout our stay. Consider alternative accommodations nearby for a more pleasant experience.

The local eats around here are a treasure trove! Make sure to seek out the charcuterie and artisanal cheeses for a delightful ploughman's platter experience. Plus, I had a lovely stay with a nice member of staff checking me in and a clean room awaiting me.
Our reception was a bit of a faff with the busy bar scene and narrow corridors leading to a tiny, windowless room. It was cramped with a broken toilet flush and a rather grimy shower setup. Definitely not a cozy retreat after a long day!
